Chez Henri is a very comfortable fully furnished 3 bedroom house with free wireless Internet access located in the center of Sancerre, 8 minutes walk from school. Notes

Chez Henri was built in the early 1800s. During the 19th century it was the home and workshop of Sancerre's cooper (barrel maker).

Exposed oak ceiling beams add authentic charm to this comfortable house. Modern bath and kitchen provide convenience. There is a washing machine for clothes, a CD/cassette/radio and color TV. Parking is 3 minutes walk away.

Accommodations

Tall ceilings, large windows and bright colors make Chez Henri bright and spacious.

Downstairs: Living room, dining area, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom, all with restored original terra cotta floor tiles (except for ceramic tiled bathroom and carpeted bedroom).

Upstairs: Hardwood staircase leads to 2 bedrooms and study area. Pine floors and oak beams grace the entire upstairs. The orange bedroom has a twin bed, skylight and 19th century pink marble vanity. The blue bedroom has a double bed. The study area has an oak parquet desk, chair and overstuffed armchair and is separated from the blue bedroom by heavy blue curtains.

Being located walking distance to the school, this is an ideal house for students without personal transportation.
